Frontend development and continuous improvement work on the Dentaid and Waterpik online stores — two brands within the same group, built on PrestaShop. This isn't a project with a fixed beginning and end, but an iterative one: e-commerce in production across several countries and languages, with both B2B and B2C versions.
The context
Dentaid and Waterpik sell in multiple markets, each with its own language, regulations and quirks. Keeping several PrestaShop stores aligned — consistent in brand but adapted to each country — is a constant maintenance challenge more than a from-scratch design one.
How I worked
Unlike a project that starts from a finished Figma, here the starting point is the client's real needs. The work was iterative and collaborative:
- Prioritizing with the client: understanding which improvements delivered the most value at each moment.
- Changes on production: implementing specific requests on live stores, with the care that demands.
- Consistency across stores: maintaining brand identity while each store respects its local language and regulations.
What I focused on
- Product presentation: improving how products are displayed (images, descriptions, specs).
- Checkout process: simplifying and speeding up checkout to reduce friction.
- Multilingual, multi-country: adapting each store to its market without breaking global consistency.
Results
- More polished online stores and a smoother buying experience across several markets.
- An ongoing working relationship, with a fast response to the client's requests and to business changes.
