SparkBites is a curated web design inspiration directory. It gathers standout examples of UI/UX, creative portfolios and design resources in one place, so designers and developers can find quality references without wasting hours searching.
The problem it solves
Hunting for design inspiration is a job in itself: you open twenty tabs, save random screenshots, and still miss the best references. The field moves fast and keeping up takes time. SparkBites concentrates that search into a hand-reviewed directory where every resource is there because it earns its place.
What I built
- A curated directory of sites, portfolios and resources, selected with taste rather than auto-aggregated.
- A minimalist interface that puts content first: you explore without distractions and reach what you need in a few clicks.
- Categories and filters to narrow by type of inspiration (UI, UX, portfolios, resources).
- Responsive design so the experience is just as good on mobile as on desktop.
Key decisions
A directory's value isn't in quantity, it's in curation. The most important decision was keeping strict selection criteria and reviewing content regularly, so SparkBites stays a trustworthy source rather than a messy drawer of links.
Results
- A resource that cuts the time a designer spends looking for references, leaving more time to create.
- A recurring reference point for the design and frontend community.
